[03:08:41] <qduanmu> pombreda, hi
[03:09:13] <qduanmu> ScanCode can not support the local licenses maintenance yet, right?
[03:09:18] <qduanmu> https://github.com/nexB/scancode-toolkit/issues/480
[05:01:50] <pombreda> qduanmu, Hi :)
[05:02:31] <pombreda> qduanmu, you can add local licenses alright, in the same dir as other licenses
[05:31:49] <qduanmu> pombreda, sorry, just back from lunch, as they have to be maintained in the same source dir, just worry about there would be some risk when there is a scancode upgrade
[05:32:58] <qduanmu> e.g., I have a local license and there is another license in scancode dataset with the same license key but with different license text
[05:51:57] <qduanmu> we want to rely on ScanCode's license dataset as much as possible, the improved license dataset including detection rules with a scancode upgrade.
[05:52:09] <qduanmu> While maintaining the local licenses, we need to add some license data check locally during the upgrade.
[05:52:24] <qduanmu> I did a quick check in local licenses with those in scancode, about 70 licenses are not exist in scancode, most of them are from:
[05:52:31] <qduanmu> https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Licensing:Main?rd=Licensing#Good_Licenses
[05:53:06] <qduanmu> Maybe we can push them into scancode's standard dataset if possible :)
[09:25:49] <jose-ifm> hi, anyone around?
[09:48:20] <jose-ifm> nvm, solved in gitter
[14:49:14] <pombreda> hey :) ... stick around for an answer ;)
