(Back to #dcpython overview) (Back to channel listing) (Animate logs)
[13:36:47] <aclark> Morning
[13:43:02] <joshfinnie> Morning.
[13:44:47] <jaraco> morning!
[13:46:14] <aclark> jaraco: i stuck plone in the supervisor config
[13:46:24] <aclark> jaraco: any reason that is in /usr/local/etc ?
[13:46:34] <aclark> would be nice if it were in etc so i could "keep" it
[13:47:04] <jaraco> I just assumed it was a non-system installation, so thought /usr/local/etc was best. /etc would be fine.
[13:47:17] <jaraco> I think supervisord searches both locations, so it's probably just a matter of moving it.
[13:49:30] <aclark> yeah cool
[13:49:36] <aclark> that's what i thought thanks
[13:49:43] <aclark> i'll move it at some point
[14:38:26] <redir> morning #dcpython
[14:40:57] <aclark> redir!
[14:42:48] <redir> aclark!
[17:23:38] <aclark> Arecibo or sentry? :-)
[18:36:03] <joshfinnie> Does DCPython have a twitter account?
[18:36:42] <joshfinnie> NVM, found it
[18:41:04] <aclark> joshfinnie: indeed, thanks to MattBowen
[18:41:11] <aclark> I wish we could auto-tweet meetups
[18:42:22] <codekoala> aclark: why can't you?
[18:47:40] <joshfinnie> back, sorry.
[18:48:10] <aclark> codekoala: meetup doesn't support it, last time i checked
[18:48:18] <aclark> codekoala: or, i don't know how to do it
[18:48:54] <codekoala> aren't the meetups available via some sort of RSS feed?
[18:49:29] <codekoala> if so, there are sites like http://twitterfeed.com/ that will post for you
[18:49:31] <joshfinnie> hi, maybe my message didn't go through. You can take the meet up calendar's RSS feed and sign up for a program like http://twitterfeed.com
[18:49:38] <codekoala> ;)
[18:49:54] <joshfinnie> codekoala: great minds think alike...
[18:49:59] <aclark> codekoala: ah nice
[18:50:03] <codekoala> joshfinnie: indeed
[18:50:13] <aclark> kennethreitz: ooo hubot looks nice
[18:50:13] <codekoala> joshfinnie: or maybe it's just a Josh thing (that's my name too!)
[18:50:30] <kennethreitz> aclark: yeah, I can't wait to use it.
[18:50:33] <joshfinnie> that is definitely more likely the case
[18:58:52] <kennethreitz> aclark: we should setup a hubot for #dcpython
[18:58:54] <kennethreitz> dcbot
[19:02:10] <aclark> kennethreitz: yeah! what will it/can it do?
[19:02:25] <kennethreitz> obey the 3 laws
[19:06:52] <joshfinnie> kennethreitz: this hubot? http://zachholman.com/posts/why-github-hacks-on-side-projects/
[19:15:16] <aclark> joshfinnie: https://github.com/blog/968-say-hello-to-hubot
