[16:54:07] <nlh> ping dstufft
[16:54:17] <dstufft> nlh: heya
[16:54:20] <nlh> hi!
[16:54:28] <nlh> thanks for fixing the build so quickly
[16:54:29] <nlh> :)
[16:54:47] <nlh> I was looking at the search results pagination
[16:54:55] <nlh> I'd like to use a button group for this
[16:55:06] <nlh> if I send you the ideal html, can you deal with paginate?
[16:55:35] <dstufft> nlh: yes
[16:55:44] <nlh> ok, cool
[16:55:46] <nlh> thanks
[16:55:54] <dstufft> might not be until tomorrrow, but I can get it done
[16:56:14] <nlh> no, its ok
[16:56:22] <nlh> I don't know if I'll be able to get you the html before then
[16:56:26] <nlh> on this issue:https://github.com/pypa/warehouse/issues/796
[16:56:39] <nlh> does having an open ended "links" field address this??
[16:57:11] <nlh> or are we saving this somewhere?
[16:57:30] <nlh> If we don't have the data already, then I think we can probably move it to post launch
[16:58:04] <dstufft> I think that can probably be closed, we acually have Project-URLs (which gets rendered at the top near Download/Homepage already) but setuptools doesn't expose any way to actually populate that data
[16:58:15] <dstufft> unless you want to style IRC specially when they show up there
[16:58:24] <dstufft> in that case we can keep it open, but move it post launch probably
[16:59:07] <dstufft> (Project URLs is basically a dictionary of Name: URLs that is mostly arbitrary but some limitations, like uh, 32 characters max I think on the key?)
[16:59:12] <nlh> ok
[16:59:17] <nlh> lets close it for now
[16:59:23] <nlh> if we see a need later, we can reopen
[17:00:12] <nlh> I also wanted to talk to you about the help page
[17:00:28] <nlh> I put together some content for this - I'll send you over the doc by email
[17:00:49] <nlh> as we don't have a feedback mechanism, I want to use a couple of google forms
[17:01:00] <nlh> the question is - what account should they live on?
[17:01:24] <dstufft> nlh: umm
[17:01:27] <dstufft> that's a good question
[17:02:06] <dstufft> if you want to own them that's fine, or I can, or I can poke the PSF to see if they want to own them
[17:02:24] <dstufft> I don't think it matters a whole lot in the long run, unless we're planning on keeping it indefintely
[17:02:31] <nlh> no
[17:02:48] <nlh> I can set them up on my account and share them with you - do you have a google drive?
[17:03:02] <dstufft> Uh
[17:03:14] <dstufft> No idea, probably not. I'm sure I can figure out how to get one though
[17:03:25] <nlh> ha
[17:03:26] <nlh> ok
[17:03:52] <nlh> well, how about I set it up and if there is anything I think you need to see, I can invite you to the doc then?
[17:03:59] <dstufft> sounds fine to me
[17:12:25] <dstufft> nlh: fwiw, anything that's TODO'd or missing in the templates that we're punting till post launch, we should probably delete or comment out or something. some stuff I tried to do but it broke the design when I did (like uh, the Change log thing that showed the words). It's not absolutely critical that every TODO item gets hidden but as much as we can I think will be good, because if people see themt hey'll start asking how they populate them
[17:12:47] <dstufft> Gotta run to the store for a bit, bbl
[17:14:56] <nlh> ok, no problem :D I'll take a look
[20:45:25] <dstufft> StevenK: heh
[20:45:42] <dstufft> StevenK: since I bought a house and moved, my sleeping schedule is far more normal than it's been in years
[20:45:54] <dstufft> previously, I used to regularly be around anytime Richard was, who lived in AUS
[20:53:46] <StevenK> dstufft: I was in Austin last week, until Tuesday I'm in Dallas
