[23:18:31] <lifeless> dstufft: closing purge of bugs? :)
[23:19:12] <dstufft> lifeless: We're killing the develop branch, and in my sleepy morning eagerness to get rid of the develop branch, I deleted it from Github
[23:19:52] <dstufft> which meant that all open PRs against it got auto closed
[23:22:12] <lifeless> dstufft: so what, develop on master, backports to named branches?
[23:23:11] <dstufft> lifeless: yea, everything just goes to master, if I need to backport something to do a new release I'll just cherry-pick onto a temporary branch
[23:23:17] <dstufft> which is what I do now really
[23:47:48] <jaraco> How does this group feel about Gitter (perhaps to replace this forum)? I’m frequently not here because for whatever reason my IRC client isn’t running. Gitter, on the other hand, has nice background clients and persistent conversations and mobile clients with push notifications.
[23:48:08] <jaraco> It would make me substantially more available if we were to adopt something like Slack or Gitter.
[23:48:42] <jaraco> I suggest /pypa/support and /pypa/dev to replace #pypa and #pypa-dev
