[01:47:58] <njs> dstufft: the interesting thing from my point of view was that someone who is clueless enough to email python-dev about this is also clueless enough to give some really valuable insight into how the kinds of users we normally don't talk to cope with this stuff :-)

[01:48:56] <njs> ...I wanted to put that link into the github issue where there's an argument about whether 'pip install path/to/distribution' should install the named distribution if there's already something similar-looking installed, but now I can't even find that issue :-(
