[17:30:19] <umeshksingla> Hello.. How can I start with issues listed on bitbucket in pypi repo? I commented on few of them but no one seems to reply.
[17:44:33] <umeshksingla> I am new and I found some easy issues to start with there. Anyone?
[17:46:12] <dstufft> umeshksingla: the code in the pypi repo is scheduled to be retired and replaced with a new code base. If there are issues you feel strongly about you can submit PRs there if you want but most of the effort on improving PyPI is happening on github.com/pypa/warehouse
[17:48:17] <umeshksingla> Ohh! Thanks dstufft. You saved a lot of my time
[17:53:00] <umeshksingla> dstufft: so should I start working on any issue directly or someone should assign it to me first?
[17:53:14] <umeshksingla> I m talking about issues on github pypi repo
[18:02:53] <dstufft> umeshksingla: you don't need it assigned to you, sometiems we'll assign issues if someone in particular is going to for sure work on it though, but generally not
[18:03:07] <dstufft> you can just work on it, can make a comment saying you're going to if you want
