[19:52:44] <tanium-nl> Hello, all. Any staff available to help out with a question or two?
[19:53:26] <toad_polo> Hehe, staff.
[19:53:58] <toad_polo> PyPA is generally just a loose collective of volunteers.
[19:54:23] <toad_polo> Always feel free to ask, though I can guarantee anyone will be able to help you right away.
[19:55:10] <tanium-nl> I've got a situation where a former colleague of mine published a python package, hosted on our GitHub organization, to PyPI
[19:55:28] <tanium-nl> It's published under his account
[19:56:14] <tanium-nl> And because he no longer works for our organization, we have nobody to support, maintain, or complete the project
[19:56:27] <tanium-nl> We'll be removing the source from github shortly
[19:56:39] <tanium-nl> But the availability of the code on pypi poses a problem
[20:18:41] <tanium-nl> Essentially, looking for some guidance on how we can get the package removed from pypi
[20:18:44] <ngoldbaum> tanium-nl: email legal@python.org
[20:18:48] <ngoldbaum> python.org/dev/peps/pep-0541/#intellectual-property-policy
[20:18:56] <ngoldbaum> you might need to make a DMCA takedown i think
[20:25:21] <tanium-nl> I'll advise the org, thanks
